The 2007 exploration plan is focussed on two main activities: -

Securing New Opportunities

Assessing potential exploration ground based on historical work and new understanding. This work is currently focussed in Yunnan Province, where we believe the capacity for exploration success is unparalleled. Currently, land that is in addition to our current land bank, is being reviewed for Copper, Zinc and Gold mineralisation.

Exploring Existing Joint Venture Tenements

In Regent's Joint Venture tenements (where we manage all exploration) a sum of $10 million is allocated for exploration in untested areas. There is over 157km² of ground adjacent to operating mines that is yet to be tested. There is evidence of historical artisanal mining in numerous areas in the tenements. Mapping, Geophysics RC and Diamond Drilling will be the main methods utilised.

After the first pass of exploration is completed in these areas, a desktop targeting exercise will be conducted to ensure the continued strategic focus of exploration.
